The Philadelphia Flyers have officially been eliminated from the playoff race, which means the team is now shifting its focus towards the future. As a result, the Flyers have announced that they will be calling up some of their young prospects for the remaining games of the season. This will be exciting for fans and the organization, as the club recently announced a 'multi-year' rebuild was under-place, we will now get a glimpse at who we'll be seeing long-term.

While every win is crucial for the Flyers' affiliate team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, giving these prospects a short stint in the NHL will only benefit them and the organization in the long run. It will allow them to get a taste of the NHL game and help them gain valuable experience for the future.

Attard is 6th amongst AHL rookie defensemen with 11 goals and 19 assist in 64 games played.

Fans are excited to see these young guns in action, and it's an opportunity for them to showcase their skills and potentially earn a spot on the team next season. Although the season may not have gone as planned for the Flyers, the organization is making moves to set themselves up for success in the future.
