Scott Laughton speaks to the media following elemination

The Flyers were officially eliminated for the playoffs last night after a 2-1 loss to the Capitals.

Veteran forward Scott Laughton spoke to the media following the loss stating that it is a hard pill to swallow. He think they battled well and had a great 2nd period just fell short. Laughton said that the Flyers had a great season exceeding expectations and that the 8 game losing streak just came at the worst time possible. He added that it was extremely painful to sit in a playoff spot all year then miss out of them due to 8 games.





The Flyers and Laughton have a lot to be proud about regardless of the outcome of last night's game, they proved this season that they have a bright future ahead.
