The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New Jersey Devils Saturday night 1-0 but also got to celebrate Flyer's fan favorite Wayne Simmonds' career. During the night, Scott Laughton was asked about Wayne Simmonds and spoke highly of him.
Scott Laughton on Wayne Simmonds:
"He's the ultimate Flyer, and he does embody what Philly is."

Scott Laughton and Wayne Simmonds played parts of six seasons together and Laughton comments on Simmonds seconds what Wayne Simmonds stated about playing in Philly. This city wants their athletes to give everything they have and to always show effort. Wayne Simmonds was always up to defend his teammates at all costs even putting his own body on the line and this is why this city loves him so much. Wayne Simmonds will truly always be a forever, Flyer.
