The Flyers have assigned goalie Alexei Kolosov to the Phantoms after returning from the KHL. According to philadelphiaflyers.com, the was announced today by the Philadelphia Flyers general manager Danny Briere.

Transaction: We have re-assigned goaltender Alexei Kolosov from Dinamo Minsk (KHL) to the @LVPhantoms (AHL).

Kolosov was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2021 draft in the 3rd round and 78th overall, he later signed his entry level contract in 2023. While in the KHL, Kolosov played for the Dinamo Minsk, and this year, he played in 47 games and finished with a record of 22-21-3. He also had a 2.39 goals-against average, with a .907 save percentage and four shutouts. Kolosov will now join the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, who are currently in 6th place in their division, with 9 games remaining on their regular season schedule. The Phantoms have a record of 28-26-9 for a total of 65 points. We can now see how Kolosov can adjust playing in North America, at least in the AHL.
