Trade Deadline acquisition wont report to the team?

After previously reporting that newly acquired Flyer Ryan Johansen has suffered some type of injury, there seems to be more to this story. Per rumors, it seems that Ryan Johansen is refusing to report to the Flyers AHL affiliate the Lehigh Valley Phantoms after clearing waivers.

It seems the only reason, that the Flyers acquired Ryan Johansen, was so they can receive a first-round pick in return for Sean Walker. It is not entirely clear if the reported injury of Ryan Johansen and his refusal to report to the Phantoms are connected. However, what is clear is the chances of a Ryan Johansen being bought out of his contract if healthy this summer has just increased and his chances of ever playing for the Flyers have just decreased if reports are true.
