AHL Player Suspended For ''Obscene Gesture'' Directed at LIVE TV Cameras

Dominik Shine, a forward you've probably never heard of, is facing criticism from the AHL.

There is little chance for Shine, a 29-year-old forward, to play in the NHL after six seasons of consecutive play with the Detroit Red Wings AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins. Shine is now a -13 with 13 points over 49 games.

Even though he probably won't play in the NHL ever, his latest "inappropriate gesture" has caught the attention of many NHL fans throughout the league.

Shine, a 29-year-old player, received a two-game suspension for raising his middle finger following a scrum with an opponent. No, he pointed it directly towards the TV camera and each and every person watching from the comfort of their own home, not at the other player.

Although he has a "A" for alternate/assistant captain on his jersey, it doesn't look good.
