The NHL All-Star Game weekend has officially begun, and yesterday night's hosting of the skills competition by the NHL got things off to a somewhat poor start. The audience snoozed through roughly 45 minutes of commercials and 40 minutes of actual skills contests during the event, another money grab by Bettman, while ruining the fans experiences at home.

I believe that everyone anticipated that Florida would have a terrible showing for the All-Star Game, and who knows what Bettman was thinking when he decided to give Florida an all-star game, given that the state has had some of the poorest NHL attendance in recent years. Aside from the snooze fest, David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins is responsible for one act from the skills competition that is going viral in comparison to the others.

Pastrnak made the decision to pull off his finest "Happy Gilmore" impression, and the judges and audience loved it!

Given the direction the All-Star game has gone in recent years, this will definitely go down as one of the greatest skills competition acts in recent years, and it could even be one of the best acts we'll see for a very long time.
