Evander Kane Leaves The NHL For Personal Reasons
The Oilers were dealt some bad news this week as forward Evander Kane will be out until at least the all-star break. Kane filed for bankruptcy last year and is set to appear in court for the next seven days until after the all-star break.
Kane may not be a force on the scoresheet, but he brings an energy to the team that is not easily replaced. Kane recently missed two months after taking a Patrick Maroon skate to the wrist in a very scary incident that left players on both the Oilers and Lightnings quite shaken up.
With Evander Kane missing the rest of the week of action and potentially a few games after the break, did Edmonton take Kane off of injured reserve too soon?
