Flyers Prospect Starting to Turn Heads in the WJC

As the preliminary rounds have ended and teams prepare for the Quarterfinals, there now have been opportunities to look and check out some of the Flyer's draft picks that have been impressive. One in particular is Sweden's captain Emil Andrae.

Emila has 7 points (3g,4a) and that brings him to fourth most points in the tournament. A lot of reason to get excited about the young Defenseman. Clearly, he isn't ready to join the NHL just yet, but seeing the capabilities of this young star is very intriguing.

Eliteprospects.com says this about the Swedish defenseman

"Andrae plays with a high work-rate when the puck is close and does whatever he can once he has committed to winning a puck-battle. Andrae walks the line well to open shooting lanes from the point, using his edges and body in an evasive way. He's got excellent vision from the point and can make great plays to set up his teammates with high-danger chances."
