Flyers Top Prospect Candidate For Goal of The Year

Flyers prospect Tyson Foerster continues to dazzle with his offensive skill while playing for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

While at home playing against the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins, Foerster was breaking down the right side with his teammate, while doing a nifty hold play and putting the puck past their goaltender in an amazing show of skill.

The 21-year-old right winger has played 41 games for The Phantoms while scoring 15 goals with 13 assists for 28 points and is +2. He continues to show highlight reel goals and is making a case for himself to crack the Flyers lineup next season.

He was drafted in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft in the first round, 23rd overall he stands 6 foot 2 and 194 pounds. It remains to be seen if the Flyers will call him up before the end of the season to give him some time with the NHL club.

With the recent surge in the Flyers' play and only being six points out of a wild-card spot, it's certainly possible that may happen.

For his continued development, it would be best he remains with The Phantoms for the season as they are 4th overall in the Atlantic division in the AHL, and sit 7th in the Eastern Conference.
