Will he play tomorrow or not?

Keith Yandle hasn't missed a game since March 26, 2009. It's 989 consecutive games played. He, as you know, has the longest ironman streak in NHL history.

However, it could come to an end tomorrow night. First, we thought that his illness could break his streak, but it doesn't seems to be really the case. He was back at practice today, but on the 4th defensive pair with Kevin Connauton.

During his post practice press conference, Mike Yeo said that they hadn't made a final decision on Yandle's presence in the lineup tomorrow. But the Flyers want to give the young players, like Ronnie Attard, some NHL experience so that's why Yandle could be out Saturday against the Maple Leafs.

According to Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers and Yandle had a conversation about how to handle the final 15 games of the season. But the probability to see him play all of those matches until the end of the year are pretty small.
