Carter Hart was rumored to be traded by Danny Briere throughout the summer and the beginning of the year.

Carter Hart has had a positive impact upon the team since he returned to the ice, however.

In a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, Carter Hart led the Philadelphia Flyers to their third straight victory.

Hart has a .921 save percentage with a 2.34 goals-against average in 9 games with the Flyers.

His record with the Flyers this season has been 5-3-0, and he has proven his worth as a stabilizing force.

Carter Hart, who makes $3.9 Million AAV and whose contract ends at the end of this season, should be re-signed by Danny Briere.

A five-year deal with a value of $6 million-$6.5 million is anticipated for his next deal.

Re-sign Carter Hart

If he signs a long-term contract with the Flyers, he should finish his next contract at the age of 30, which could be a long-term solution for the rebuild.
