According to his doctor, Jakub Voracek has to quit playing hockey, so he has all but hung up his skates.

At least seven concussions have been sustained by the winger during his NHL career.

Jakub Voracek has joined Jaromir Jagr's Kladno team as an assistant coach

Voracek announced in 2023 at the Columbus Blue Jackets press conference the sad truth: he would be leaving NHL ice permanently.

He has since been recruited to come to Czechia by his former teammate, Jaromir Jagr.

According to reports, Voracek has accepted an assistant coaching position with Jagr's team, HC Kladno.

In his 15-year NHL career, he primarily played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Philadelphia Flyers.

Voracek played 1,058 games in the NHL during his 15-year career, scoring 223 goals and 583 assists for an overall score of 806 points.
