On This Day Jori Lehtera Was Officially Busted For Being Apart of a Drug Cartel

On this day in Flyers history- Jori Lehtera's cottage was raided for cocaine. NBC Sports reported the following:

‘'Jori Lehtera has reportedly been questioned by police in Finland about involvement in a cocaine ring. No charges have been filed, but his cottage was raided over the summer when he wasn't present. #Flyers''

Which lead to the following sentencing..

''Jori Lehtera, a forward in the Flyers' organization, has been sentenced to four months of conditional imprisonment (probation) in his native Finland for obtaining and possessing cocaine, according to a report Wednesday by a Finnish newspaper Iltalehti.V


Per the report, Lehtera acquired six grams of cocaine but did not import or sell the drug.

The case stems back to September 2018 when Lehtera was considered one of 23 suspects in a large cocaine cartel. He twice claimed his innocence in September and December.
