Many critics have been silenced by Shane Wright, or have they?  The Seattle Kraken picked Shane Wright with the fourth overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft. When the Montreal Canadians passed on him and selected Juraj Slafkovsky with the first choice, he is most remembered for looking down the team's table with ''the stare''.

Not exactly the finest NHL debut for Shane. He was on the third and fourth lines and had just one point in seven games. The Coachella Valley Firebirds, the Kraken's AHL affiliate, would have been a better fit for him, but they wasted his potential and perhaps stunted his development. Instead, they benched him for nine straight games.

Seattle ultimately decided to send him to the AHL, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Wright has scored four goals in only three games and doesn't appear to be slowing down. He's not only regaining his rhythm, but also his confidence.
