larsen to flyers?

Prior to his time with the Blue Jackets, Larsen served as an assistant coach for the Springfield Falcons before making the jump to Columbus.
During his time as assistant head coach, Larsen played a significant role in turning the undisciplined Jackets into a team that played with grit and determination, culminating in the team's victory over the President Trophy-winning Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the playoffs.
It's possible that Larsen will reunite with former Columbus head coach John Tortorella, who has expressed interest in bringing in his former staff to assist with the Philadelphia Flyers' rebuild.
Due to the recent news of Flyers assistant coach Brad Shaw garnering interest for a head coaching role elsewhere, this makes perfect sense.
Although no decision has been made yet, the Flyers' Danny Briere and Keith Jones will continue to work on their draft strategy while waiting for news.
