Michkov's story continues to unfold with fake accusations.

One of the most irritating problems with the internet and people making statements is the lack of factual evidence and sources to support their claims. Far too often, individuals spread completely false information, either for clickbait purposes or to gain notoriety on the internet.

This trend of baseless rumours and stories has unfortunately affected the reputation of Matvei Michkov, the recent Flyers draft pick selected in the first round, 7th overall.

Online rumours suggested Michkov was overlooked by many teams due to his poor attitude and other concerns. During an episode of "Spittin' Chiclets," Biznasty and his panel made some harsh statements about the Russian forward.




However, after this defamatory report was released, TVA Sports interviewed one of Michkov's former teammates, who presented a different account contradicting the claims made by "Spittin' Chiclets."


I choose not to speculate on how Michkov will behave when he eventually joins the Flyers in a few years. Players often mature over time, and by the time he arrives, he will be 21 years old if everything goes as planned.

With the Flyers' evolving culture under new management, including the expectation of playing for John Tortorella, Michkov will undoubtedly need to adapt to the North American style of play.
