REPORT - The Flyers Make a Surprising Cut From Their Roster Along With Several Others

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today the club has reduced training camp by 10 players, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

The Flyers have assigned the following players to Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League (AHL):

Forwards - Tyson Foerster, Olle Lycksell
Defensemen - Adam Ginning, Adam Karashik, Cam York
Goaltenders - Pat Nagle

Yes, Cam York. The Flyers 14th overall pick in the 2019 entry draft which dates all the way back to 3 years ago. The Flyers passed on Cole Caufield, Alex Newhook and many other great players who are now full-time NHL'ers, all to select defensemen Cam York.

Forwards Adam Brooks and Max Willman and defenseman Louie Belpedio have been placed on waivers for the purpose of assigning them to Lehigh Valley.
