One of the most notable things John Tortorella stated just over two months ago when he was hired is that he has no idea who anybody is on the Flyers roster, he has no idea what kind of players they are, ''they have no identity'', Said Torts.

Identity meaning ''Do i have bangers, goal scorers, goons? What do i have?'', Said Torts when he was making final roster cuts during the Flyers pre-season.

Despite the Flyers near-10 game losing streak, the team went streaking at the beginning of the year getting a point in 6 out of their first 8 games as a team, while developing an identity.

Despite the ups and downs, Tortorella's standpoint on ''identity'' has played a huge role on some players finding their game, whether that is Zack MacEwen with an amazing two-way game, or Owen Tippett looking 10x more confident on forward, we can sure see it.



Apart of the teams' developing identity comes a ''brotherly love'' bond, and a brotherhood, and it was showcased well during last nights Flyers win against the Colorado Avalanche!
