Nick Seeler talks about what signing in Philadelphia means to him

The Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler had a stellar year this past season even when there were rumors, he would be traded at the deadline to help the Flyer rebuild. Instead, prior to the deadline, on March 6, 2024, the Flyers extended Seeler to a four-year contract.

When Nick Seeler was asked about the contract extension with the Flyers, he stated :
"I have been fighting for that contract my whole career, and it's life changing. It means the world to be in a place where I feel respected. The direction this group is going, I'm excited to be a part of it."
Nick Seeler was key to the Flyers defense this past season as he was 5th in the NHL in blocked shots, even after missing an extended period of time due to injury. Clearly, Seeler is happy to no longer go from team to team and the Flyers are happy to have his presence on defense for years to come.
