Michele Basso: A Hockey Player Remembered
Today, we mourn the loss of former hockey player Michele Basso, a World Junior Champion. At just 26, he succumbed to a long battle with bone sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer.Former Italian World Junior Championship member, and Italian league defenseman, Michele Basso has unfortunately passed away at the age of 26 after a long battle with a disease.
Basso played for @italia.hockey's U18 team in 2014-15, and their U20 team in 2015-16. He also played 11 games with Asiago in the Italian League in 2015-16.
