With the draft of Cutter Gauthier in 2022, the Philadelphia Flyers may have drafted a real #1 center. Gauthier is described as a complete 200-foot forward.

As he develops into a player of the type the Flyers need, he's already showing excellent skills in the offensive zone and excellent sniping ability.

Anyone who has watched a full Cutter Gauthier BC game should know that he is a center. The power and speed combo that he attacks the center of the ice with in transition is so elite and really really reminds me of MacKinnon

In his style of transition, his ability to complete plays with speed and power, not to mention his absolute beauty of a shot, Gauthier easily reminds us of Nathan MacKinnon.

As one of the best building blocks for the Philadelphia Flyers, Gauthier is a versatile power-forward who can play in all three zones.
