Since joining HC Sochi on loan from his old club SKA St. Petersburg, Matvei Michkov has played eight games for the club.

He faced his old team and old coach Roman Rotenberg in his eighth game of the season.

It took four minutes for Matvei Michkov to make SKA coach Roman Rotenberg look like a clown

In Sochi's game, Michkov took just four minutes to make Rotenberg look terrible after he opted to go with Alex Galchenyuk instead of Michkov.

With his first goal of the game, he lit up SKA with a slick release, which he would capitalize on throughout the game.

MATVEI MICHKOV ANOTHER ASSIST.

This one on the power play. What a shift. 1G-2A against his old team so far. #Flyers

Michkov recorded two more assists during the game to continue his onslaught.

As a result, he has more than a point-per-game average at this point in the season after scoring 10 points in 8 games.

This is Rotenberg's Joker arc, isn't it?

Amir Garayev (2 goals) is named Player of the Game for Sochi but his line celebrates together.

His line with #FueledByPhilly Matvei Michkov (1 goal 2 assists) and Artur Tyanullin (3 assists) together combined for 8 points.
