An NHL team must have players willing to stand up for their teammates, ensuring that opposing teams understand the consequences of any shenanigans against their fellow players.

The Philadelphia Flyers have Nick Seeler, a defenseman known for consistently playing with an edge and displaying a level of feistiness that embodies the team's renowned toughness.
Unfortunately, the Flyers' preseason opener against the New Jersey Devils didn't go as planned, resulting in a 6-0 loss.
When the Devils took a 3-0 lead during the game, Seeler and the Devils' Brian Halonen decided to settle the score with a fight at center ice.

Although the fight was brief, it sent a clear message that the Flyers won't allow themselves to be pushed around this year, especially with Seeler on the roster.
Throughout his NHL career, Seeler has played for three different teams: the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Flyers. Over his career, he has participated in 225 games, scoring seven goals with 22 assists, totalling 29 points, and accumulating 185 penalty minutes.
His primary role with the Flyers is penalty killing, and he is a fixture in the team's bottom defensive pairings.
