Whether they are in the AHL, NCAA, or other junior leagues in the world, Philadelphia Flyers prospects are putting on a show.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms were playoff contenders in the AHL, and it appears the team is continuing to win.

Cutter, Michkov, Rizzo and more!

Before we drop the puck on the regular season, our prospects are showing up and showing out in their respective leagues.

Tanner Lacynski and Victor Mete connected for the game-winning goal, as the Ian Lapierre-led organization defeated the Hershey Bears. Adam Ginning, Alexis Gendron, and Evan Polei all scored points for the team.

A two-way power forward, Cutter Gauthier, will be the focus of our BC College discussion. In a 2-1 win against Quinnipiac College, the 2022 1st round selection potted the overtime winner.

In an exhibition match, Alex Bump and the WMU Broncos defeated the US NDTP by a whopping 5 points. In the game, Bump would contribute two goals, one at the 6-minute mark and another on the power play.

Massimo Rizzo has been lighting up the NCAA, with a 3 assist game against Alaska. The game before against Alaska, he had a whopping four apple night. Rizzo has been playing some of his best collegiate hockey lately.

As part of the London Knights' 4-1 victory over the Guelph Storm, Oliver Bonk assisted on Denver Barkey's goal. Denver Barkey, also a London Knight, contributed 3 points with 2 goals and an assist on Ruslan Gazizov's goal. Barkey has 6 points on the team.

After signing his NHL entry contract, Carson Bjarnasson returned to the Brandon Wheat Kings. As part of a rebuilding Wheat Kings team, he is currently 1-2-0 with a 4.02 GAA and .892 SV%. The 6-3 win was largely due to his 34-save performance against the Swift Current Broncos.

HC Sochi's Matvei Michkov has been a bright spot, adding a primary assist and a minus-1 on the night despite the recent 10-1 loss to Severstal Cherepovets. As a result of being loaned to Sochi for the 2023-2024 season, he has 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points and a plus-five rating in 10 games.

Currently, Alexei Kolosov is on loan at Dynamo Minsk, where he is 3-4-1 with a 2.13 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. During the season, he has also earned Player of The Game honors in back-to-back games in the KHL.
