With 15 goals and 45 points in 50 games, he is having a career season and was named to the All-Star team for the first time ever. Allen said recently on a podcast that the interest was being generated by a top-notch team. He did not speak of the team, and kept it a secret.
Hayes has three more seasons left on a deal with a $7.1 million yearly cap cost, and the Flyers will sure have to retain salary.
The 30-year-old forward may submit a 12-team no-trade list according to a modified no-trade clause. James van Riemsdyk, a left winger with the Philadelphia Flyers, is the player most likely to be traded before the trade deadline on March 3 Sam Carchidi also mentioned.
Among the other contenders are defender Justin Braun and Hayes. Said Sam.
