A short time after he was unceremoniously removed from his NHL team and subsequently the league, SKA St. Petersburg quickly signed Alex Galchenyuk to their team.

It was only a matter of time before he would be taking over Matvei Michkov's place in the lineup, as it was Michkov who would be scratched and demoted regularly.

Galchenyuk has 0 goals, 2 assists through 6 games and is a -5.

His ice time has already steadily decreased and he was stapled to the bench for all but 3 minutes in his last game.

Analysts say he's out of shape, and the effort is not there at all.

Galchenyuk seems to have found the bad side of Roman Rotenberg in the last couple of days as it seems things have come full circle very quickly.
