A week from now, the NHL's best will be traveling to Toronto, Canada to compete in the 2024 NHL All-Star weekend as Flyers star Travis Konecny will be representing the orange and black in one of hockey's greatest cities. Although All-Star weekend is one of the most exciting weekends for hockey fans, the break comes as a much needed relief for the Flyers.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for the Flyers. Starting with top prospect Cutter Gauthier being traded from the Flyers because he did not want to be a part of the organization to ending with the shocking news of Carter Hart's leave of absence, the last few weeks have been exhausting for the Flyers.
The Flyers have still been keeping their heads above water in a season where many expected disaster. Last week the Flyers sustained a five game winning streak, including three straight on the road. Since then, however, the Flyers have struggled.
The Flyers have dropped three straight, including an ugly loss to the last place Senators where the Flyers squandered a two goal lead. Along with those loses, the Flyers have lost Owen Tippett to injury and have sent Bobby Brink to the AHL.
The All-Star break gives the Flyers a chance to take a breath, reset, and begin to focus on the future as the trade deadline is quickly approaching.
