The Philadelphia Flyers injury struggles seem to continue, the Flyers haven't been able to catch a break with two key pieces being injured, Rasmus Ristolainen and Cam Atkinson have yet to play in a game this season, as well as Owen Tippett has been sidelined since the Flyers faced off against the New Jersey Devils two weeks ago.
Today, news broke that another Flyer will be out long-term and requires surgery
James Van Riemsdyk will be sidelined with a broken finger, and requires surgery. His expected recovery time is guaranteed a minimum of one month, and will be evaluated after surgery.
