The Flyers have made a move, loaning forward Bobby Brink to the AHL's LV Phantoms, a decision that has stirred some discussion.
"Not shocking. If they weren't going to play Brink in a game where another scoring F (Tippett) sits out due to injury and instead start Deslauriers, it's pretty clear the coaches right now aren't gonna play him," remarked Flyers reporter Charlie O'Connor.
