Briere speaks importance of John Tortorella
There have been rumblings of movement around the Philadelphia Flyers organization and things continue to change.
One of them was putting Danny Brierie into the GM role and his dedication to the rebuild has also included a facelift of the front office.

Briere mentioned that John Tortorella was one of the coaches who caught his eye last summer for the rebuild as well.
GM Briere feels confident about Tortorella's results this season and it was speculated that he may end up in Hockey Ops, but it turns out he had Briere's ear about moves in the off-season.
With this news, it looks like Kevin Hayes's fate may be sealed in Philadelphia, as Briere will take Torts' advisement on player movement, deployment, and additions if what Seravalli uncovered turns out to be true.
