The Philadelphia Flyers faced off against the New York Islanders in their final preseason tilts, the Flyers had a awful preseason record of 1 win and 3 losses (including one overtime loss) heading into their sixth final game of the preseason, and sadly it ended in a loss.

Despite the loss, John Tortorella got to take a look at a few more prospects, and those prospects had one last chance to show the Flyers management the fire power they can bring to the organization.
In the process of giving it their all for their last NHL game before final cuts are mad, Hayden Hodgson laid a hefty check on a Islanders forward, accidental or not it was a large one.
