Should the Kraken usurp them, this gives the Flyers a better chance at drafting high and in the top 3. Players like Shane Wright, Logan Cooley, Juraj Slafkovsky are just some of the elite forwards promised to go top 5.
The Flyers currently hold a 23-42-11 record meaning that the Kraken, an expansion team, has two more wins than them.

If we do a fun little mock draft right now and have the Flyers drafting fourth, Logan Cooley is the player most likely selected by the team according to mydraft.com.
To rub salt in the Flyers wounds, playoff teams like the Leafs are using these last few games as warmups to decide their best lineups before playoff time. They are even expected to rest Jack Campbell tonight.
The Flyers have six games left in the season as they hope to maximize on their draft hopes.
