Lou Nolan is an absolute legend.

He's been a part of the Flyers' organization since the inaugural season of the team in 1967-68. He became the Flyers' public address announcer at the start of the 1972-73 season, and he still is today.
To give you an idea, Nolan is the longest serving person in the NHL. He called over 2000 games - regular season and playoffs included.
It's been now 50 years that Nolan is the PA announcer, and that's why the Flyers will honour him before Saturday's game at Wells Fargo Center against the Ducks.

The pre-game ceremony will be hosted by Jim Jackson, Flyers' TV play-by-play announcer and Steve Coates, the Flyers' radio color commentator. Nolan will be joined on the ice by his wife, sons, daughter and Flyers' allumni. A video tributes will also be played.
