Even though it looks bleak with the parent club, interim general manager Danny Briere is right when he says there are bright spots with players within the Flyers organization. Cutter Gauthier showed his skill sets with Boston College and call-ups Cam York and Tyson Foerster showed what the future may hold for the team.

Another rookie, set a new record with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms today.
Desnoyers passed Danick Martel who played with The Phantoms in 2015- 2016 With 23 goals in his first season. That is a great feat and a positive step for the Flyers as they continue to evaluate their talent and assess what they need.

The 21-year-old leftwinger has played 63 games, scored 23 goals with 20 assists for 43 points and is a + 5. He holds 14 penalty minutes and six power-play goals.
With Desnoyers setting this record, this has helped the Phantoms secure a playoff spot and they are currently 4th in the Atlantic division.
