With the Flyers season over and players looking forward to their summer lives of continuing their workouts and spending time with their families, hockey still is played throughout the world, especially at the competitive level.

Team Canada is beginning its search to find players to play in the World Championships that are coming up. One player who was offered a spot was Flyers star forward, Travis Konecny.
TK, had a career year this year even though the Flyers had one of their worst years in modern times. He played 60 games, scored 31 goals, with 30 assists for 61 points and had 77 penalty minutes.
TK also was dealing with an injury near the end of the season which kept him out for almost a month. With the injury he sustained and the fact that the Flyers season was quite the roller coaster, TK declined the invite.

There's a possibility that he's continuing to rehab and heal from his injury earlier on, or he would like to spend more time with his family during the offseason.
It remains to be seen if Team Canada will reach out to any other Flyers players to round out their roster.
