The beginning of the regular season has been nothing short of exciting for Flyers fans. The Flyers will most likely be ending 2023 sitting at second place in the Metro Division and turning heads of most in the league. As Flyers fans prepare for 2024 and the team prepares to continue their red hot regular season, here are some games Flyers fans should circle on the calendar.

Whether it's watching from the comfort of their living room or making the trip to the Wells Fargo Center, these matchups are sure to bring the energy in 2024.
Thu, Jan 18 vs Dallas Stars
Quite frankly, a litmus test for the Flyers. The Stars are one of the top teams in the West this year and this game presents the Flyers with the opportunity to show the league they can compete with the upper echelon of the NHL. A win could really point this team in the right direction.

Sat, Jan 27 vs Boston Bruins
Philadelphia. Boston. Whenever these two cities meet, no matter the sport, is must see TV. With the Bruins atop the Atlantic Division, the Flyers could make another statement with a win and separate themselves in the East standings.
Sat, Feb 17 @ New Jersey Devils
The Flyers and Devils have had a great back and forth in their first two meetings as both teams split, winning overtime battles in both matchups. Not only is this meeting a matchup between two teams with history, but it is the first of the NHL's Stadium Series as this matchup takes place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The pageantry and the great matchup is sure to be enjoyed by millions on ABC.

Whenever these two teams meet, there's always fireworks due to their historic rivalry. This time, it has the potential to mean something. As of Dec. 21, the Flyers sit just behind the Rangers for first in the Metro Division. If both teams keep pace, this matchup in Philly could have first place implications. The Wells Fargo Center is sure to be rocking when the Rangers come to town.
