Well, it was an animated night for the referees in the NHL.

In the game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens, the refs allowed a goal that shouldn't have counted because a Montreal player made a pass with his hand just before the goal.
Again, during that time, another controversy erupted in the game opposing the Florida Panthers and the Detroit Red Wings.
Wings' forward Oskar Sundqvist two-handed slashed Panthers' defenseman Lucas Carlsson. The referees ejected Sundqvist as they assessed him a 5 minute major and a game misconduct.
This time, I agree with the referees and what the broadcasters explained. Sundqvist never seemed to target the puck. His slash was vicious and he could have badly injured his opponent.
