It's a Philadelphia Flyers game night, as they take on the New York Islanders and some news about the lineup has surfaced.

While the Flyers are out of a playoff spot, GMs and coaches across the league are experimenting with lineups and calling up AHLers to get a better look at what's available.
Tortorella's decision to go forward with scratching this defenseman has insiders puzzled.
Must read on FlyersInsider
Tony DeAngelo isn't exactly a top-4 pairing defenseman, but he has been used on the Power play and plays a good offensive style.
But this is the 2nd game in a row the defenseman has been scratched without reason.
DeAngelo has 11 goals, and 31 assists for 42 points in 70 games with the Flyers this season. So he took a small step back from his contributions compared to last season, he's still been useful.
What is the reason? Was it because he was suspended two games last month for spearing Corey Perry?
Has the luster of DeAngelo worn off yet again? Tortorella did make an attempt to shield DeAngelo from criticism previously, but with a new regime, it's hard to see why Briere wouldn't flip him for assets.
Whatever the reason, we may never know until July.
