That would be too bad.

Yesterday, Flyers defenseman Keith Yandle was one of the three absents at the team's practice. For what reason? He's sick, according to interim head coach Mike Yeo.

We shall see today if Yandle will be back, but if he's not present, there's a real possibility that his ironman streak could come to an end. As a reminder, Yandle possesses the record for most consecutive games played in NHL history with 989.

We'll see if he'll be in the lineup on Saturday against the Maple Leafs. It will all depend on how fast he recovers from his illness. But I would bet that he's doing everything in his power to be ready for tomorrow's game...

This season, Keith Yandle scored 15 points in 67 games.
