MUST SEE : Samuel Girard rushed to hospital after being victim of a monstrous hit

The Colorado Avalanche received a very bad news last night.

In the first period of Game 3 between Colorado and St. Louis, Avalanche defenseman Samuel Girard got rocked into the boards by Ivan Barbashev.


Girard left the game and was rushed to hospital by ambulance. The team announced after the game that he has a fractured sternum. Thus, he will be out for the remainder of the playoffs.
