During an interview with RDS, Marc-Andre Fleury shared a significant update on his future in the NHL, hinting that the upcoming 2023-24 season could mark his final year.

Attending a charity golf event in Quebec, Fleury spoke highly of the Minnesota Wild, praising their team dynamic and competitive drive.

«I really like Minnesota. It's a good group of guys and every night we have the chance to win games, which is important. It could also be my last year. I will try to take advantage of it as much as possible, »revealed the Quebecer during the Beauchemin-Fleury-Beauvillier-Aubé-Kubel Golf Classic which was presented at the Les Dunes club in Sorel-Tracy on Friday.

The 38-year-old goaltender, hailing from Sorel, Quebec, boasts an illustrious career with three Stanley Cup championships and impressive statistics, ranking third in all-time wins and 12th in shutouts. With his potential retirement next spring, Fleury's path to the Hockey Hall of Fame looks promising, potentially as a first-ballot inductee in 2027.
