NHL Head Coach Body Cam Footage of Arrest is Going Viral

Andrew Brunette, a former head coach for the Florida Panthers and current assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils, was arrested and charged with DUI on February 1st, during All Star Weekend. According to reports, Brunette was operating a golf cart while intoxicated, which led to his arrest.

Recently, footage of the incident was released online, providing more details about the incident. The video shows police stopping Brunette's golf cart after he failed to stop at a stop sign. Following an investigation, the police determined that Brunette was under the influence of alcohol.
The video also shows Brunette attempting to leave the scene during a field sobriety test to call his lawyer. However, the police intervened and decided to place him under arrest. In the footage, one officer is seen warning Brunette against resisting arrest.
This latest incident adds to a long list of similar cases involving sports figures and serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible drinking and the consequences that come with driving under the influence.
