Kimmo Timonen, Spent seven seasons with the Flyers from the years 2007 through 2014. During that time he was a steady point-getter for the Flyers as a defenseman and had many 30 to 40-point seasons. He also had numerous seasons of well over 45 to 50 penalty minutes.

Andrae does give a stark reminder of the team due to his physical size and height. The Swedish defenceman stands at 5'9» and 176 pounds, But he plays with an edge and is not afraid to throw his body around and give players fits when trying to break into their end.

This is also very similar to what Timonen intended for the Flyers. As he develops and grows it will be interesting to see if he shows a true comparison of him.
