Organization Welcoming Kevin Hayes to Their Team With 'Open Arms'

Johnny Gaudreau and now the Columbus Blue Jackets are going to use the Boston connection between Gaudreau and one Flyers player who may be subtracted in the off-season.

It's been reported back in February that the Columbus Blue Jackets were in on Hayes, but no moves were made.

However, it seems that Jarmo may be ratcheting up attempts to make a move for Hayes as he would be welcomed in the organization. It helps to have friends in high places and not only does Hayes have a connection with Johnny Hockey, but he also has Rick Nash, the former Rangers teammate.

The question is with Danny Brier kick-starting the rebuild, how quickly does he pull the trigger and will it be on draft day?

The path is easily laid out if you think it through, however, the only thing left to address is cost, but as it stands the Blue Jackets haven't given up on the idea of acquiring the All-Star.
