Para Hockey Game Ends With Brawl and Over 100 Penalty Minutes Handed Out

It's a given that there will be fights during every Olympic matchup in which Team Canada and Team USA compete, when they go head-to-head in  Hockey, soccer, or even the newly named "Para" hockey, which was formerly known as "sledge hockey," it simply cannot be compared to many other rivalries throughout sports.

The gold medal game for the Para Hockey Cup took place this past weekend on Saturday, when team USA faced off against team Canada. Team USA defeated Canada by a score of 5-1 to win the game and the gold medal, but not without a battle.

When the two teams got into a heated line brawl, which even the goalies stepped into, almost 100 penalty minutes were earned. Watch it below:




The rivarly between the two countries lives on, and hockey fans will be blessed to see them go head-to-head in less then a months time at the 2022 World Juniors.
