Flyers forward, Travis Konecny, who has missed the last 16 games has been activated from IR. Tortorella seemed to think Konecny was further behind playing than Sean Couturier, but Couturier is still rehabbing and the medical team has decided he will not play this season. It's not a set back, just a decision made due to the amount of playing time he has missed. Tortorella said he spoke with Couturier and said he suggested they use the next several months to get Couturier ready for next season.

Konecny is available and will play tonight after being taken off IR.
On the other hand, goaltender Carter Hart, who is officially listed as "day-to-day" will miss his third straight game with a lower-body injury after suffering the injury during morning skate last Thursday, did take to the ice this morning for a rehab skate prior today morning practice, with Cam Atkinson, goalie coach Kim Dillabaugh and skills coach Angelo Ricci taking semi-soft shots and going through save motions.
While Hart was on the ice rehabbing, the Flyers announced Ersson was recalled on emergency conditions. He played for the Phantoms last night in their 4-2 victory, so he likely will not play tonight; he'll back up Sandström for the third straight game. Chances are he'll get one more game for the Flyers, tomorrow evening in Pittsburgh against the Penguins as the Flyers begin their last week long, 4 game road trip of the season. Aside from being back on the ice, no official update on Hart was given, so we'll have to wait and see if Hart accompanies the team on the trip and watch to see if his status changes at any time during the upcoming 4-game trip.
