Sidney Crosby Comments On Missing The Playoffs Days Ago
When you think of the Penguins you immediately think of the playoff success and Sidney Crosby. The Penguins have made the playoffs the last 16 seasons and were officially eliminated from playoff contention this season when they lost to the Blackhawks two days ago, and then with the New York Islanders clinching a spot.
Crosby was asked about the possibility after their morning skate and had some interesting remarks. Crosby stated "knowing how close it's been for a while now, we all understood that there was a strong chance it was going to come down to the last game." Crosby also stated "We've done a good job the last couple of games of focusing on the game at hand".
After dropping a critical game against the Blackhawks, the Penguins have officially hit the panic button, and fans are blaming Ron Hextall.
