At the beginning of this week, Mike Yeo couldn't tell if Scott Laughton was going to play again this season. He suffered a concussion against the Florida Panthers on March 10.
However, Yeo announced some good news: Laughton has been cleared to play. The interim head coach even joked about it by saying that a couple of guys were surprised that Laughton passed the concussion test as he has never passed a test in his life.
"I shouldn't say this, but a couple of guys were saying that Laughton wouldn't have passed the (concussion) test even if he was fine. He hasn't passed a test in his life," said Yeo.
In a more serious note, Yeo said that they were going to be careful with him so don't expect Laughton to be back in the lineup tomorrow against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
