Flyers head coach John Tortorella has enjoyed an illustrious career in the NHL. Not as a player but as a coach. Tortorella has coached with five NHS organizations. During that time he has won two Jack Adams trophies, and one Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning it has provided fans with many playoff games and playoff success.

Tonight his team faced off against the Minnesota Wild which the Flyers won five to four in a shootout. This win pushed Torts into a new milestone for the records.
Torts bring a unique blend of coaching style to the Flyers which is a rough stand-up-for-yourself kind of hockey with an old-school blend of defence first then the offence would come after.
The Flyers with their broken roster have managed some success with this philosophy and if Danny Briere has anything to say about it there will be many more changes to come and it will benefit Torts' vision.
The Flyers will be at home tomorrow against the Detroit Red Wings and will play at 1:00 PM eastern.
